Hello

Silently lying awake in bed
I start to play back things in my head
I start to wonder what to do
Wondering if I should wait for you
Hearing the crickets play their song
Believing in my heart that we still belong
Knowing things are not going my way
And not having a clue on what to say
I still feel in my heart that you're the one
Twisted and knotted, cannot be undone
I know it'll all work out for the best
Hopefully, for now, I can get some rest
Falling deep into a sleep of you and me
Holding hands as we site under the tree
Falling deeper and deeper into my sleep
Knowing that this feeling I will keep
For when I wake, I will know
I will hear you say "hello."
